A DANCE teacher has died from a rare flesh-eating bug two days after a routine knee operation.

Spanish-born Salsa expert Maria Garcia, 45, was admitted to a private hospital last month for keyhole surgery.

But less than 48 hours later she had severe pains.

She died from septic shock caused by the streptococcus bacteria and the flesh-eating bug necrotising fasciitis.

Marcia, from Luton, Beds, has been taken back to Spain to be buried next to her father.

In a statement, her family said: “We are devastated
